Splendid Greenland Fjord

Splendid Greenland Fjord

Be cool my friends in the heat wave. We all woke early to take pictures of Prince Kristian’s Sound in Greenland, stunningly beautiful. I’m still quarantined, so all of these photos are me juggling my laptop to take the shots; Bob–still COVID negative–is running all over the ship with great joy. Wish him Happy Birthday! He’s loving it!.

You can see the lichen and the moss growing on the slopes, which gave me hope to see an animal or two—but not even seabirds were evident. Stark, barren, the home of most of our world’s water.

More sea days coming up! Pre-Covid, we did exactly as we are doing now: computer, camera, picture loading, reading. Though we did at least eat together! Soon!
