Snooze cruising and sea days..

Sea days, with nowhere to go and nothing to see are perfect for reading and long afternoon naps. We each ventured out briefly in Guatemala to experience a Spanish colonial city (Bob) and a tourist-targeted local market (Betty), and then returned to cool snooze cruising.

Yesterday, the ocean had motion, and thus we spent even less time outside the room in lieu of weaving and running into walls. Later in our empty dining room, the waiter immediately queried “How do you feel?” We felt fine and enjoyed our meal…but maybe some of our shipmates were just not hungry?

I spent entirely too much time figuring out how to share the book we’ve been reading for months…Simon Bolivar. The next post, coming soon, is indeed a book report. Enjoy or skip it.

Tomorrow is another snooze cruise day, as Oceania cancelled a stop in Nicaragua as a result of a State Department bulletin. Then on to Costa Rica…
Snooze.
